English Conversation Classes

 

A. CONVERSATION STRUCTURE 1

Special Program for Beginners:

Students are trained to participate in group discussions thereby harnessing their speaking and listening skills further. These classes also deal with situational English.

 

For Adults: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 10 days)

For Children: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 10 days)

 

B. CONVERSATION STRUCTURE 2

This is the follow-up to Conversation Structure 1. Students will learn 20 basic skills that are enumerated in the ESL Can-Do List. (Example: Skill 13: Describing things and how to use them step by step, Skill 15: Talking about Your Responsibilities at Work)

 

For Adults: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

 

For Children: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 10 days). 

The Children class is followed by Speech Power 1 (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

 

C. SPEECH POWER 1 and 2

Conversation Practice Class:

The course provides students the opportunity to express their ideas. Students discuss various topics with one another with the teacher as the facilitator. Students are also encouraged to participate in group discussions and become more confident speaking in front of people.

Special Conversation Classes for Children

 

A. SUPER PHONICS / STORY TELLING

Play and learning are combined to help very young children learn English. These are the preparatory courses for all young English learners. Teachers make use of songs, games, videos and stories to get children excited about learning English.

(Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

 

B. JUNIOR BASIC CONVERSATION: a 20-day course that teaches young children the very basics of English conversations. Children are taught basic grammar with actual conversation application. (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

 

TOEFL / TOEIC / IELTS Review

 

A. TOEFL iBT LISTENING CLASS

This is a special course usually offered to students in the mid- intermediate to advanced level.  The instructor teaches the different techniques required to improve listening skills and to answer the TOEFL listening section intelligently through familiarization with the methods used in the test.

B. TOEFL iBT / IELTS SPEAKING

This class is designed to help students get a high score in the Speaking portion of the new TOEFL iBT or the IELTS. Students will be taught to speak in a formal manner using appropriate words and expressions.

C. WRITING CLASS 1 & 2 (BASIC WRITING & TOEFL iBT ESSAY WRITING)

These 2 courses are designed to hone students writing skills needed (a) in their academic subjects or (b) in TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS

D. TOEIC LISTENING CLASS 

Developing listening skills for the new TOEIC

(Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

 

WRITING GROUP CLASSES

 

A. JUNIOR WRITING 

For Children only: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

 

B. ESSAY 1: BASIC WRITING focuses on improving a student’s writing skills. The class follows a step-by-step approach in developing writing competency. 

 

For Adults: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

For Children: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days).

 

C. ESSAY 2  is the follow-up course. This class focuses more on formal writing. This is useful for those who plan to take TOEFL iBT or for students who simply want to improve their writing further.

 

For Adults: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days)

For Children: (Mon to Fri, 2hours a day for 20 days).

 

DEVELOPING LISTENING

 

Core Courses

The core classes are designed to develop listening comprehension skills with emphasis on familiarization with phonetics, word pronunciation and sentence intonation. This course provides techniques and strategies to aid non-English speakers to understand the intricacies and nuances of the English language.

 

For Adults

For Children

A. JUNIOR LISTENING PLUS (Beginner Course): This is an integrated skills course designed specifically to develop a child’s listening competency. The course incorporates grammar lessons, basic conversation patterns, listening to recorded materials and watching films and TV programs.

 

B. JUNIOR LISTENING POWER 1 (Pre-Intermediate Level)

C. JUNIOR LISTENING POWER 2 (Intermediate to Mid-Intermediate Level)

D. JUNIOR LISTENING POWER 3 (High-Intermediate Level)

Special Group Classes

 

911 also can create a special group class for students enrolling as a group. The class will be designed specifically to the immediate needs of the group. Examples: SAT, TOEIC READING and BUSINESS ENGLISH, which include business conversations and writing.

 

English Grammar Classes in Korean

 

A. SENTENCE STRUCTURE COURSES

These classes are essential courses for speaking, reading, writing and listening. They help student improve in all aspects of language acquisition through systematic analysis of sentence structures. These classes also provide a deeper understanding of grammar in order to develop skills in reading comprehension at the sentence level.

 

For Adults

SENTENCE STRUCTURE 1 (M-W-F, 2 hours a day for 12days)

SENTENCE STRUCTURE 2 (Tue & Thus, 3 hours a day for 8 days)

 

For Children

JUNIOR SENTENCE STRUCTURE 1 (M-W-F, 2 hours a day for 12days)

B. CONVERSATION STRUCTURES

Students learn basic conversation patterns to help them communicate in everyday situations.

 

For Adults: (M-W-F, 2 hours a day for 6 days)

For Children: (M-W-F, 2 hours a day for 6 days)

 

 

1 student per teacher | 2 hours a day M-F | 20 days
To start, the student is given a diagnostic test, in oral or written form. Then, the head teacher or the assigned teacher will design a program based on the student’s fluency level and specific needs. One-to-one class (Open schedule):
Available slots = Morning 8-10, 10-12 and afternoon 1-3, 3-5 and 5-7
